Elusive Elder Dryads! I'll never be a wizard!

I am trying to complete the 1st job change quest on my elven mystic... I killed the were rats and finished what was supposed to be the hardest part of the quest... but I cant find the Elder Dryads Thalia is talking about ANYWHERE! And by now I am on a first name basis with every blade of grass in the area.

Can anybody tell me where to find them??
