The Gracia Epilogue update is offering 36 new quests, updated content, and a new instance called the "Delusion Chamber," available for level 80-85 players.

Newer players can also enjoy the update with an improved version of the "Mithril Mines" dungeon, which features new content for higher-level players, essentially drawing veteran to the new players for an easier and more enjoyable dungeon-crawl experience.

Some of the other features Gracia Epilogue improves on are:
# The Vitality system. Now the experience gained between Vitality levels are increased. Also the amount of Vitality used per kill is changed for high-level-characters, (level 75 - 85), who are now set to use the same amount of vitality as level 75 and under characters.
# An in-game Mail system. Perhaps the biggest addition, players can use regular mail with or without attached items, or C.O.D, or Payment Request mail, to send mail with items that must paid for in order to be obtained.
# A Command Channel Matching System, greatly facilitate Raid organizations
# New items and options for Mercenaries in Territory Wars. Players can purchase all manner of new and useful special items from Territory Managers in the main cities of the territories during Territory Wars.
# Re-worked Hunting Grounds, changing up several areas, where monsters show up and their spawn times, changing quest requirements and rewards, and making level progression all-around smoother for higher-level characters
# Updated classes and skills. The Vanguard stance has been improved, for example, to make solo-playing as a Knight easier.
# A new and enhanced Skill Enchanting interface, allowing for enchanting to be used at almost any time, no longer consuming Experience, greatly expanding the amount of skills that can be enchanted, and even offering a help menu to aid in Skill Enchanting.

The massive size of the patch really hits home how much work NCsoft is putting into Lineage II to make it a more enjoyable experience for new players and veterans alike.

By improving the hunting grounds and related quests, and making leveling more efficient in various areas of the Lineage II world (Aden), players can get much more use out of said areas, by more easily farming items and experience from the mobs and quests there.

Improving and enhancing classes and skills also aid in the fighting process, as does the improved and easier-to use Skill Enchanting system, providing players with stronger attacks, skills, and bonuses at lower mana costs, to allow them to take on much stronger foes than would ordinarily be possible.

Improving Vitality also lends much to this. Leveling has been made progressively easier since Gracia's introduction. Vitality points are consumable points that awards players bonus experience when they kill monsters. The more Vitality a player has, the more experience they are awarded upon a kill, however Vitality is spent when monsters are killed too, so the bonus experience steadily decreases the more you fight.

By increasing the amount of experience rewarded from Vitality boosts with the Gracia Epilogue patch, and reducing the amount of Vitality consumed by high-level players, combined with the improved skills, classes, and enchantments, leveling up in Lineage II has never been easier. This, in turn, allows players to dive right into the heart of Lineage II and enjoy higher-level content much faster than before, without the tedious grinding that bogs down many an MMORPG.

Here is the official summary of the actual patch notes, detailing the many changes Gracia Epilogue brings with it: http://www.lineage2.com/epilogue/patch-notes.html. (http://www.lineage2.com/epilogue/patch-notes.html)
