Hello,

I'm new here. New to the server, and new to the game. I currently play WoW, but my guild is kinda...going downhill. A friend told me about Lineage 2, so I'd thought I'd try it.

I have a few simple questions mainly about the game. Also, please, ease up on acronyms and abbreviations if possible. Or, say what they mean in parenthesis ().

1. What is the preferred choice of weapons while leveling a warrior to Gladiator?

2. When I'm grinding, How long (In levels) do I want to stay at any given spot? Example, Say, I'm level 20. I'm killing things that are around 18-22. How long should I keep killing these monsters before I move to another area?

3. I'm also leveling a wizard to SpellHowler. Is there a decent grinding spot around level 30ish that I could go to? I read this on a fansite:
30-35 Cruma Swamps, Wastelands, Field of Silence, Death Pass, Medusa's Garden, Breka Orc's (north of Giran), Heritics Catacombs(HC), Pilgrims Necropolis(PN).
Would this be accurate?

4. Is there a decent fansite I could go to learn all the crazy acronyms and abbreviations used in the game? If not, I learn quickly.

5. As a caster, do I want to invest into a weapon or armor first?

I think that's all my questions. I look forward to meeting new people in-game or on the forums.

aight, first, welcome to l2 crusaders

this server has a exp rate of 30x normal (you will level your char 30 times faster than on retail), and a adena droprate of 200x normal, meaning you will never have to worry about what you can afford to buy.

now, we also use AIO (all-in-one character buffers) which will enable you to exp even faster (my lvl 40 tyrant went to exp in Forbidden Gateway, where monsters are up to 25 levels higher than my character, ofcourse this will require the correct buffs and equipment, but as i said, that's the smallest problem on this server)
AIO Buffs are sold by players who have donated for one og these characters, and the current pricing range from 25,000,000 - 35,000,000 adena (25kk-35kk)

please note, mobs on this server only drop adena, unless you go to Ancient Island, Forge of the Gods or Imperial Tomb, where mobs will drop custom items and 'materia' used to purchase S grade weapons, armor and jewellery

The fastest way to exp, is to purchase a teleport runestone to ancient island, and look for a active party
